Downloading music is a bad thing in the long-run, but it's not going to be stopped anytime soon. There are too many loopholes that file-sharing sites have to get through. The RIAA has been trying to stop these sites for years, and look how far they've come...basically nowhere. Nothing is going to change the fact that at any moment in time, any one of us can get just about any song we want from Kazaa. Is it wrong? Probably, but being the conceited bastard I am, you won't see me quitting anytime soon.

And for the record: Because of things like Kazaa and EMule, I am more of a music fan today than I ever was back in the days when I bought CDs. I am 10 times more inclined to go see bands like the Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Audiovent, or Coldplay in concert now; whereas before, you'd be lucky if I could name one of their songs.
