Here's the thing about GameCube and why it's my hero as opposed to the other two.

Xbox is good shit, not denying that, it is a very good system.

Playstation2 also kicks the ass, I was a huge fan of Playstation #1 back in the day.

Xbox - I hate microsoft and Bill Gates and his pathetic little faggoty ass with a passion and will never, NEVER endorse his products... FUCKER.

Playstation2 - I know people who would have bought GameCubes rather than Playstation2's if it wouldn't have been for the DVD capabilities. I myself have an iMac with a DVD-R drive, so I have nothing to worry about in that field.

I'm not saying that that is the ONLY reason you should buy a Playstation2. My allegience to Nintendo continues with that fact that they were tuff enuff not to join the DVD game, they stayed faithful to just video games, that's all the GameCube is about. While most people see this as a downfall (economically), I see it as honorable.

Nintendo has and I'm sure always will have my favourite games. I'm not saying they are better, they just have the games that I like to play. I don't play many sports games nor do I play many simulation racing games (besides F1), and I've never been a huge fan of 1st person shooters, I get bored of them.

So in conclusion, I will always remain faithful to Nintendo whether they keep making their own consoles or not, (and if they didn't I would switch to Sony, I'm a fan) I am Nintendo fan not because their system is better or what-not, simply because Nintendo has what I like, and I don't need anything else.
