The stegosaurus was a plant-eater. It enjoyed being pleasured by other stegosauruses of the same-sex. It is what you would call the "Jake" of the dinosaur family.
Those spikes on it's back are for sexual pleasure through anal sex only.
The stegosaurus skates on the gravel, simple as that.
