With the limited technology we have available, a sports ticker probably would look as attractive as 80 year old pussy.
If we did it using the graphics machine all would have is text floating across, and it would look like ass. That and the fact it is not designed to display such extremeties of information.
The other way to do it would be on a computer, after all the graphical work was done on the computer to make it look fancy, all we would have to do is just update the ticker everyday. Sounds easy but after that we woudl have to dump it from the pc to a dv tape, then play it on top of sports anchors while they were sitting in front of the blue screen. This would be rather time consuming since everytime we use the blue screen we have to tape it then, play record that on to the final news tape.
After i get done with my sports intro, ill try working on it, and see if its even a possiblity, but if i would have to guess right now, i would say its highly unlikely.
