It is completely true. I can understand being critical of "scarring" if one has never had a scarring emotional and psychological experience in their life (which, with your sense of humor, i find hard to believe, but for the sake of this post I will), but it's the same psychological fuckedness that happens with anything...why a kid is afraid of water bc he almost drown when he was younger...why people don't get into relationships because they've been hurt so fucking badly and wrongly they never want to have that again...why a girl who is raped cannot trust any men.
I don't know, I find your question confusing. You are a very intelligent person; but you doubt the probability of mental and emotional scarring in a child who was molested...?
