During my last year of high school (2003) I drove down to bloomington to see Denison Witmer play at the old rhino's. It was a free show and yet only 10 people showed up. Sujfan Stevens was the opener and played the whole set by himself with just an acoustic and a banjo (now he plays with a whole orchestra, of sorts)! The song that Blonde posted is what made me fall in love with his music. I bought his "Greeting from Michigan" vinyl off of him (it had just come out) and went back up north with a giant smile on my face. A good memory.
