Edit: I suspect that our candidate might be Miss December 1986 Jill Shawntai. Carol had a friend Shawntae who pronounced her name Shawn-tye. The resemblance is kinda there. Gonna need better pictures. The time frame: she would have just turned 18 around late sep-early oct of 1986. And probably making her under age if the december issue was being processed 90 days prior to December 1, 1986.
