Birthdays will never be just another day for me. Either I make everyone treat me like royalty for 24 straight hours, or I don't remind people and hope they forget so can then I spend the following 24 pouting and laying guilt trips on everyone I know. Either is acceptable. Facebook has kind of ruined the latter option though. This year I woke up with like 50 "happy birthday" messages from people I barely know.
