Jaime, I think not counting the obvious "made for the reader to like" characters of Tyrion, Arya, and Jon Snow, is my favorite character in the books. The way he changes throughout the book, and the way it's shown why he is the way he is in the first place (a spoiled cocky dick), is extremely interesting IMO

I totally agree. I'm still in the beginning of the 5th book so Jaime hasn't appeared again, but I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen. The last I heard of him, he was still out fucking around with the Freys. The hopeless romantic in my kind of wants him to hook up with Brienne. Martin is sort of foreshadowing that but it might be a feint. My guard is up.
