Your choice, but I do have to correct you there --the type of meditation I do is focusing on
not thinking all the time -- it's basically training for concentration and thinking about nothing at all. You focus on your breath, in and out, the entire time -- you don't think about anything else. It's extraordinarily relaxing and really does help to clear out the mind, but it's very difficult to do.

If you want to change your thought and behavior patterns, I'm sorry to say it, but starting from inside your mind is the only way you're doing to do it. That's all I'll say on that, but getting out more and socializing will also definitely help.
