DH: He's just saying those things to get a rise out of you. You're not in the wrong, your apartment complex is being unreasonable, although I still would be interested in hearing what the lease agreement says. Not that most lease agreements don't have bullshit in them as well.
Is it possible that rent is due on the first and the 3rd is a grace period?
