It's not that late of a start. Jesus man we're not even 30 yet. We're talking a difference of 4-5 years. That's nothing.

No, he's right. It's not an insurmountable thing, but the fact that you're not 22 years old won't help. You're not exactly what they're looking for (young, hungry, remind them of how they see themselves at that age.) They might wonder why you've been "dicking around" for three years. And you don't have the benefit of career placement services like FC and I did.

But that's just an obstacle, and if you are "young and hungry" or even just "hungry", it will show. To do what FC is describing you're going to have to take some shit, do a lot of busywork, take a lot of disrespect, carry a lot of coffee. We all did it.

As appealing as all that money sounds, it just seems like an unrealistic path for me at this point.

Truth be told I am pretty lost and have no idea what i'm going to do with myself. Death seems like the best option truth be told, given all the things that have happened since I came back from traveling.

I probably need to see somebody soon.
