Let's say you have been captured by terrorists. And these terrorists desire to either stab you in the abs with a six-inch extremely-sharp knife. Or they want to shoot you in the abs with a .22 (a .22 is a nice gun, but it's not really all that powerful of a gun).

Which would you choose?

I think I would have to go with the gun. Just something about feeling a knife slice through my abs down through my stomach doesn't sound too cool. Then again, neither does a bullet, but perhaps it is the lesser of the two evils.

These are important matters for us to discuss. Please reply with your choice.

I'm gonna have to go with the bullet as well, it's much faster and strikes me as a little less damaging, although it would hurt a great deal more.

I would definately go with the blade, and here is why:
you've got to respect someone that is willing to stab someone. it's so much more personal than simply pulling a trigger. you've actually got to have physical contact and shit, you can't objectify the person you're hurting or killing. I would hate to be killed or tortured by someone whose methods I didn't respect.

also, when given two choices such as this, I always go with the evil of two lessers.

Shot, definately shot. When people would hear that I got shot, they'd be upset, worried, but being stabbed is kind of unusual, so they would consentrate more on the fact that I was stabbed, and where I was stabbed, etc....not how I was.

And the pain factor...in my crazy mind, I would think it would hurt less to be shot, but I've never really experienced either, so I couldn't say for sure.

Kick the little towel head in the balls, that is what I say.

i think i'd tell him to stab me with the gun, "STAB ME WITH THE GUN I'M A HARDASS!!!", and whilst he was confuzed as shit and wondering why the hell ANYONE would want to be stabbed with a gun, i'd take niger's approach, and kick him in the gonads.

Kicking him in the balls is the clear answer. However, upon carefully re-reading my post. I did not see "kick him in the nuts" as one of the two options. Damn....

Well, since a .22 is a rifle, it'd take them a little time to aim the bitch compared to a handgun giving me a split second to drop the dune coon with my nine.

I would have to go with the shot. For some reason, I think it would hurt less. There's also just something about a knife that doesn't sound too appealing to me, well, neither does getting shot, but it sounds more appealing than stabbing.

I think I'd have the greatest chance of living through it if I were to be stabbed. Therefore I would choose that. Not only that, but the bullet will come out and a much faster rate than the knife. Oh, also knives can't hurt me. So yeah.

if i was going to die either way and i knew that...why suffer more than you have to, take the damn bullet and just end your life painlessly. a stab wound would take awhile to bleed to death and suffering doesn't sound good to me.

haven't you seen reservoir dogs? it can take days to bleed to death after being shot in the gut.

Also in the movie The Jackel, a woman gets shot in the liver, the killer tells her that she can apply pressure and slowly bleed to death. Or she can let it go and still bleed to death, slowly, but not quite as slow.

I don't know but I would want the knife. Probly cause it would cut more nerves so that I would loose some feeling after the inichal shock.
