Download of the Day: Fuel-Shimmer
Gorgeous song. -Ugly Bastard |
Incubus - The Warmth
Definately one of the best incubus songs ever. Guitarist Mike Einziger said that if he was remembered for one song, this would be the one he would want. |
Static-X - Push It
Its kind of 'Industrial Metal' just listen to it, you might like it. |
Aeroplane - Red Hot Chili Peppers
How many music groups can get a fuckin' kids choir to sing back up during the chorus? |
thursday - porcelain
off of thursday's old cd, "the waiting". jsut a damn good song in every way. the vocals are amazing...yep... |
Murray Head - One Night in Bangkok
I just heard this song for the first time on the radio...and it made me get up and dance like an Indian. If you ever felt that dancing like an Indian would be a good idea, do not pass up this beauty. Murray Head has crafted a hell of a song, now to steal it. |
Dude, dancing like an Indian has become so overrated.....heh...
Anyway: Since I haven't posted in here for a while, I'll put on a few. Jump, Little Children - Cathedrals: A very mellow song that is very soothing, but the subject seems very.....cold. It's very dark subject material, but it paints such a poetic scene, you can't help but love this song. Face to Face - The New Way: What a great song. Face to Face is on the same label that Dashboard Confessional is on, and they're a very good band that takes it's sounds from Bad Religion, Fugazi, and older grungy punk, but it's still incredibly catchy, original stuff. Pete Yorn - Undercover: You can find this song on the Spider-man soundtrack. It's one of the few really good songs on that soundtrack, and boy, is it a doozy. There's a great percussion effect that is used in this song, and it still makes me pumped while listening to it. Actually, almost all of Pete Yorn's stuff is great. That's enough for today. |
To answer your question tonguegina, luke hadley and friends would.... oh, you know!
Bush - Solutions Their most recent and last album, Golden State, wasn't really in the spotlight ever, but it is definately a very solid album, the more you hear it, they more you appreciate it's subtleties (sp).... |
Chuck, im dissapointed that you say that "undercover" is one of the few good songs on that cd. Blasphemous...
|
Blasphemous? Bah! I know we aren't supposed to do this here, but the Spider-man soundtrack is nothing special at all.
The only good songs on it are: The Strokes....damn...can't even name the song. The Hives - Hate to Say I Told You So Pete Yorn- Undercover Stonesour...can't remember this one either... And that's it. Really, I'm not a big fan of that Greenwheel song, just cause I don't like faceless rock bands as much as you do. I'm really getting tired of that same old same old sound. Alright, here's another song so that this post is legal in this thread. Fugazi - Life and Limb: Fugazi has got to be one of the most influential rock/punk bands out there, along with Bad Religion and so on and so forth. This is one of their more catchy slow songs, but every single song of their's is worth listening to. Great band. |
To finish Chucks:
The Strokes - Last Night, and Is this It its indy rock just to warn u if u dont like indy rock also Taking Back Sunday - Cute Without the "E" And yes Greenwheel blows huge ass haha. |
I'm gonna say that today's is:
"Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta" - Geto Boys For any of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, it's the song from Office Space. |
eh, thats what i get when i argue music with a dancer... anyways
Live- Dolphins Cry Good song, no matter what chuck says |
Eh, Dolphins Cry is a classic. Live is a great band.
But I prefer Live - Lakini's Juice over Dolphins Cry. |
Primus - Shake Hands With Beef
