One of my favorite players: Daniele De Rossi. He is a blood and thunder type of central midfielder, but also has the technical ability to actually use that energy to the benefit of the team.
He also was used in the center of a 3 man defense for Italy, playing as a classic Libero or Sweeper, bringing the ball out with excellent passes to start plays. Plus he is Roman, a lifelong fan of Roma, and despite being good enough to play for any team he wants, he stuck with Roma. |

I know I already posted a Joe Frazier highlight, but goddamn if this isn't emotional as fuck.
You can see the damage inflicted by 3 fights with Ali, and 2 with Foreman. He was treated horribly by Ali, pretty disgusting stuff, and it's really the one thing that Ali has never truly made right. The trilogy with Ali was probably the greatest sporting rivalry in history, and while Ali won 2 fights to Frazier's 1, Frazier won the biggest. When they met in New York that first fight, both were undefeated, both had legitimate claims to the title, and most importantly both were in their prime. By the 3rd fight, Ali was starting to decline, but Frazier was essentially a broken fighter, if Eddie Futch hadn't thrown in the towel before the 15th round in the heat of Manilla, something terrible could have happened. |
