The long-anticipated
Official Nubblies Contest #5 is upon us, friends. I'm pleased to introduce to you a contest revolving around roadkill hunting (or roadkilling), one of my personal favorite pastimes.
The format is simple here.
You go find something dead => take a picture => write up a small story/biography => post!
It's really not too tough at all. If you need anything to use as reference to what we're looking for, you can use the
Roadkilling thread as a guideline. I would certainly hope that your submissions can top these bastards, though.
Let's talk about rules and guidelines. Firstly, because roadkilling isn't fun alone, this is going to be another "buddy contest." All that mean is that you're allowed to do this in groups of two. Of course, if you wish to fly solo in an attempt to hoard all of the glory for yourself, that is more than welcome. Once you snap your kill and write your biography/story type thing, go ahead and post it in this thread. Feel free to post
as many roadkillings as you wish. You're not limited in quanity at all; however, it should go without saying that the Bastard and I are
much more interested in quality. A single submission made of gold would easily top 1,000 mediocre stories. Another thing: since submission quantity isn't limited, and since it's a buddy contest, feel free to whore yourself out to more than one buddy during this contest. You may submit a few pics/stories with your fake friend, and then step it up a bit with your real friend later on in the contest. I certainly don't have a problem with that.
The contest begins right now and will run until
Midnight - March 20th.
