The most I ever had without puking was 24 over the course of 10 hours or so.
I propose at the next Nubblies gathering that we all sit at a table with shot glasses and do power hour until the last man is standing!

Read an article about the owner of this rental house going in to clean up after a tenant had been living there for 11 years to find over 18,000 empty beer cans. It worked out to a 24 pack a day for his entire tenure there. Couldn't find the article again, but here is a picture of one of the rooms:
