Spider man's clone saga actually had a pretty sweet character in regard to the points Gaz is mentioning. He has to watch Peter bang Mary Jane (whom, because of having the same memories, he was also in love with/felt he should have been with, but at the same time realized that he was indeed the clone) and all this stuff when he is living elsewhere in the city (dyed hair) and is still Spider Man himself. He does a lot of creepy wistful spying but I mean...wouldn't you?
