Wood-wick candles. This shit is where it's at. These might have been around forever but they are new to me...
Basically instead of waxed string or whatever the fuck they use for candles, wood-wick candles have a heavily fragranced, slow burning (seems longer lasting as well, but maybe that's just wishful thinking) popsicle-sized wick that burns instead. As I said, it seems to last longer, and the smell it gives off doubling from the fragrance on the wick and the wax itself seems to make it smell better. Also instead of burning silently the burning of the wood makes a small crackling sound, like a miniature bonfire. Pretty great.
