AP is a shitty wing man.
I admit it. AP is about the shittiest wing man ever. In fact, AP tends to get annoyed when thrust into that roll. If I'm out with some friends having drinks, I feel it's my duty to prevent you from fucking the cow you brought to the table. If we're at an event and you feel the need to hit on ever female there from age 6-60, blind, crippled, or crazy, (I'm talking to you Hank) don't expect me to hang around afterwards in the parking lot. Your ass didn't stay put at the concert or game or whatever. I'm presuming you found another way home. I'm really not interested in watching any of my friends act like an ass and get rejected. Having AP come over and say something impressive about you to a woman that isn't true isn't going to happen. Hanging out with friends is one of those times when picking up women is not on AP's agenda. Women in a pack is another time. There are exceptions.
AP sucks as a wing man. Mainly because if you need a wing man, you suck at picking up women and have no game.
