The best wings I've ever had were at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo. The Anchor Bar is supposedly the birthplace of the buffalo wing, and now it's their entire business. My father and I went out of our way driving from Boston to Chicago to make the stop, and it was a good decision.
Another memorable Buffalo meal was at Kuma's Corner in Chicago. They served a turkey-drumstick Medieval-Fair-But-With-Buffalo-Style. Fucking brilliant.
Here's a nice football-game-watching snack. Throw some chicken cutlets in a big ziploc bag. Throw in a liberal amount of Frank's Red Hot, or even better some buffalo sauce*. Throw in some bread crumbs. Fill a glass pan with the sauced-and-breaded cutlets. Top with crumbled blue cheese. Bake. Serve with celery sticks. Or even better, on a sub roll.
*Cayenne Pepper Sauce, such as Frank's, plus quite a bit of butter, and a little bit of vinegar.
