We still believe.
|
...I haven't written for awhile; so bear with me...
Taste the Air Before You Die [10.30.03] nine months of pain and turmoil; constant discomfort. hours of torture. years of arguments and misunderstandings. dawn of human perfections and dusk of human understanding. we are born with the world at our feet. we command it, it holds us tight. we have everything to lose. we have it all. stages, phases; 'lifetimes'. what are those periods of time that we go through to reach the end? Because, it is rather pitiful to work towards death with no desire in site. why exist if one will never embrace true living? why embrace to give conception to one whom will cause you more pain in the world than anyone else? why put obvious burdens in front of ourselves? is life so boring or are we not so selfish? watch the birth of a child a some point in your life. hopefully you will get to see the birth of your own; nonetheless, capture your expression when you first hear it, see it, and hold it. tell me that humans cannot create anything perfect. because, no matter what the one bore is to the world, to the ones whom created it; it is perfect, and it is fulfillment. now, there has been so much feigning for you, believe it or not, why not hold your breathe and enter another host of another soul. then hold yourself and say thank you. for there is nothing you can take that you will never be able to own. you don't own yourself; you can't even comprehend your own consequence. your decisions are all trial and error; you are trial and error. because you may be the world to them, but to the rest of the world you are that. this. it. nothing more than a tear dropped into the ocean. are you so much? please, like i asked earlier, 'where is the desire?'. what is the desire? or, not so much what is; what are?. we were once like pearls, but we are now nothing more than swine. taste the air before you die, for you are nothing but meat on the chopping block of 'free will'. you are a number, a quota, a target of a clothing commericial. we are the temporary holders of other people's money, spewers and digesters of modern wisdom, and a gaudy walking statement of what to be and not to be. the sun is rising on our ignorrance, and the dusk is settling for our innocence. .niger.angelus. |

Congratulations, you summed up everything that cynical/depressing writers have been bitching about for years. I must admit, I truly saw no real insight in that trite rambling speech. This particular genre of writing is way too overdone these days.
I'm fucking sick of these ridiculous over-dramatized rants about how man kind is flushing its inherent good will down the shitter. We all know this is happening, and writing a stupid speech like this accomplishes about as much as writing a fucking letter to the president. I thought it was good PN. I have not seen you post anything worth reading from a literary view.

Wow, great response VOL. After all, a trite rant that is in no way inspiring is certainly worth reading, from a literary point of view.
What Niger said was not only un-original, it was also completely lacking any eloquence. Don't misinterpret what I am saying; I am NOT declaring myself a skilled writer. I'm definitely not a superb writer, therefore I don't pretend to be. However, writing a barely coherent speech that has a few big words thrown in every so often is not hard to do. Niger's speech might have some truth in it... but no truth that we all haven't heard 100 times already. Then, someone like VOL comes along and praises it as if it's the greatest thing he has ever read. Bullshit. We all know why VOL is agreeing; because he is simple minded and he want's acceptance. In what statement did I agree? I simply said that I didn't think Niger had it in him. trying to be the hardest one doesn't work when you forget to read what someone posts before you go on and start posting yourself.

*Yawn...
What's that? Are you still over analyzing Niger's stupid speech? Fruit, don't be such an ass-raper. The only reason I insulted Niger's writing was because people were praising it as if it is some sort of masterpiece. Anyone can write melodramatic drivel, and I don't see any reason to praise Niger's depressing pile of shit. What he wrote about is such an over-done topic that I see no reason for everyone to practically suck Niger's dick. At best, it's mediocre. |
