While Garfield minus Garfield is roughly 10x as funny as Garfield its still not funny, let's do the math:

10X = Y

X= how funny Garfield was
Y= how funny Garfield is without Garfield

Lets plug in a number for X and solve for Y:

10(0) = Y
Y = 0

Garfield without Garfield is still 0x funny.
