UFC vs. Mayweather Marquez - Nubblies.net Forums

What is everyone watching tonight??? I will be watching UFC at a buddies, but I will have my laptop in case Mayweather Marquez happens. I'm interested in seeing how Belfort comes back against a techincal Franklin, but I would much rather watch Mayweather pouned out Marquez for 12 rounds. By 12 rounds, I mean 5.

P.S. Mayweather was 2 lbs over weight. In the contract, he had to pay 300,000 for every lb he was over. If you see Marquez's camp, they were extacted about him being over weight.

P.S.S. Belfort was also overweight. He ended up having to naked on the scale, only to be a 1/4 of a pound over. I'm guessing he dropped that, but I haven't checked. He has had trouble getting down to a catch weight, how is Dana already talking about him getting to 185 to fight Silva for the title??

Marquez's camp was ecstatic about Mayweather being overweight?

Regardless, I'll be watching the UFC fight at a bar. Belfort was an interesting fighter to watch back in the day, but my money is on him getting Shamrock'ed. MMA seems to progress very quickly.

Fuck Mayweather; just another case of him taking the easy way out.

Instead of fighting Pac he takes a guy who is a good pound for pound guy, but a lightweight at best, and really a junior lightweight at his prime. Then he makes him fight well above his normal weight, and then doesn't even fucking make the weight himself, complete fucking pussy nigger.

I was happy Vitor won. Now we have a new legit fighter to feed to Anderson at his natural weight class. Plus the loss doesn't really hurt Franklin's standing at 205.

Also, Mirko is done. Let us remember him fondly as a bad ass in Pride.

Agreed. There is nothing more than I would like to see in boxing than Pac knock him out.

Dan Henderson > Vitor Belfort IMO

I still think Hendo should get the next title shot. Don't like the way UFC has handled the whole situation on this one, much like Shogun getting a shot at 205. These guys should prove themselves INSIDE the octagon and not be rewarded for there success in other organizations. Especially a certain organization in Japan where PED's were used regularly.

I don't think they are giving him a shot because of what he has done elsewhere, it is because him vs. Silva would draw up alot of interest. I have a feeling he could fight Hendo first, and would love to see that fight. Franklin was suited for him. Stand up and bang isn't something Belfort will get beat at anytime soon.
