You must be on the email list. I've been flooded with emails for his big money bomb today. He's the most realistic Libertarian we've had to infiltrate the Senate. And he's winning. I love it.

Last poll I saw had him up 15% on Establishment candidate from GOP and 17% on the likely Dem candidate. This was done by the most accurate polling company from the last election.

I'm not aware of any differences in political positions between Rand and Ron Paul. If there are any I'd sure like to hear them.
I'm really excited about all this. If Rand can win Kentucky that would be huge, and if Schiff can win Connecticut I might just cream my pants. |

Is it what time, Shaw? Is it the biannual election season for Congress? Yes. Is it the primaries before Congress, in which about 80% of the seats are determined due to gerrymandering? Yes. Is it time to remove the those who voted for the health care bill? Yes.

I also think we should remove the those.

I agree with f3lix. It's time to take a stand. Everyone got their pussies' tickled by Obama's "Hope and Change" bullshit, and now we're paying for it dearly. We got some "change" alright. Oh boy did we ever. Unfortunately with that change went my hope. His health care bill is the worst thing to happen to this country since 9/11, and the long run effects will be much more severe. Osama didn't even have to lift a finger, we did it to ourselves.
The biannual elections this year are possibly the most important ones in the history of this country. We must get the democrats out of congress. It is imperative for the longevity of this nation as the dominant economic superpower. It's looking good for Indiana, too. With Evan Bayh not running for reelection it's likely that we will get another republican in there. We need some fucking checks and balances. |

As surprising as it may be, I'm willing to bet that IRL Der Fuhrer supports democracy more than I do.
WHY DOES "DEMOCRACY" HAVE SUCH A GOOD CONNOTATION? Think about that. Because it's been beaten into your head since you were 4 years old. Really think about this. |

I've thought about this a fair amount in the past few years. It a "democratic" system in which everyone receives one vote really the most optimal for overall health, wealth and happiness of a population? I think the answer to this question is: no. It's certainly better than a monarchy or dictatorship, but is it better than a hybrid form of democracy in which your vote is "weighed" based on a few factors such as your wealth, intelligence, etc? I would say that it's not. But the implementation of such a system would be hell and is virtually impossible to create due to all of the screaming, whining pussies that would bitch endlessly about their vote potentially not mattering as much as some guy who has worked his ass off to amass a huge fortune. We like to live in a state of delusion where we say that each person is just as valuable as the next. It's just not realistic.

I was scared to death that they (women) were going to get Hillary elected. I should have known that they would go for the younger, better looking male instead, fucking cunts.
You know that there are only two things that decide a non-lesbian (aka non-feminist) woman's vote. First, whoever her husband tells her to vote for. Second, if she's not already decided through the first factor, how good looking he is. I've actually heard a girl say she voted for Obama over Mcain because she would rather look at Obama for the next four years than Mcain. I never thought I would say this, but I agree with f3lix. |

Democracy is the best because it promotes freedom, capitalism (which is really just an economic form of freedom), and cooperation. It is also good because our leaders have to answer to the public. They serve us, not the other way around.
Because democracy promotes freedom and cooperation, it also promotes peace. I'm sure most of you have heard of the McDonald's Theory. That no other nation with a McDonald's has ever attacked another nation with a McDonald's. It's really just another way of saying that no democracy has ever attacked another democracy. |

Democracy does not promote freedom. It promotes the oppression of the minority by the majority. Democracy does not promote capitalism. It promotes the taking from the rich to feed the masses. In a modern democracy, the leaders do not have to answer to the public. The voting base is too large to have any effect. All they have to do is politic. Answering to the public is not necessarily a good thing: see my first two points. Democracy does not promote cooperation: it promotes the powerful majority not needing cooperation from the minority. Democracy does not promote peace: I see zero correlation between democracies and peacefulness. McDonald's has nothing to do with democracy. | |
