Diminishing returns though; Romney has to fight uphill, and you can only reach a certain level of penetration with ads.

I'll be voting Libertarian so I can sleep at night. I would however think Obama is at least even money.

Once the RNC is over, all Romney has to do is just run an endless stream of ads showing video clips of Obama saying he'd do this and that - then show what he actually did. Romney keeps it all on Obama and he wins. All that hope and bullshit Obama preached about came up empty for four YEARS. Americans aren't THAT dumb, but they need to be told the truth and not with the liberal media presents to them.

I saw a great ad comparing the economic results of Bain Capital and Solyndra. I'm on this shitty iPad and can't seem to find it on YouTube, but I thought the ad really shows the difference in these two candidates.

Unfortunately, Obama will probably win. You see, people don't want what's best for this country, they want what's best for themselves. The have-nots greatly outnumber the haves, and those people want bigger government, more hand outs, and more redistribution of wealth. They will get that with Obama not with Romney. Someone explain to me how that is going to attract jobs and business investment in this country. On second thought, don't bother because it won't no matter how you twist it. I sure hope I still have a job in two years.

The Ron Paulites vote for Gary Johnson (as I am) and if you add the Johnson and Romney votes together, they'd beat Obama.

The GOP fucked up picking Romney, who is too much like Obama. The GOP fucked over Ron Paul and will pay the price, as will the country.

When the GOP gets its head out of its own ass and realizes they won't win elections without the Libertarian/Tea Party supported candidate, they'll win a major election. Until then, they are fucked.

Romney said his first act as president would be to start fucking drilling in Alaska, Canada, and some of the oil-rich states in the continental US. This would drastically reduce the cost of energy and give a massive boost to the US economy, especially considering that these oil reserves are thought to be some of the largest on the planet.

Secondly, while I think focusing on generating our own gas/oil is great, don't you think it's kind of pointless long term? What are the Republican's plans for when fossil fuels start to run out/get extremely expensive?

We have high unemployment, massive trade deficit, and massive debt, so don't you think getting our country's shit together is the first step towards a technological breakthrough in energy production? What better way to spark that innovation than through infusing our country with industry and business by providing cheap, abundant energy.
