So, today in history we were talking about John Brown. For those of you who don't know, John Brown was an abolitionist whose famous raid on the town of Harper's Ferry was probably the single most incendiary step in getting to the civil war. Without John Brown, we might still have slavery today. The only problem is, John Brown is mainly remembered as a lunatic when in fact the man was a genious whos martyrdom changed this country forever.

Anyone else want to talk about who some of the most misunderstood people are?

I wouldnt mind Schroeder. I think its a crazy to think that the textbooks are right on when it comes to history. I'm sure if we were to study world history in a different country we'd have an entirely different view of the world.
