I'm going to a Sublime concert at IU Friday. What should I do for dinner/drinks before the show?

I know dick about the area and have only been there once, a day that was spent fully at ID/FC's house drinking and merrymaking.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mother Bears has excellent wings and food and has a bar called Bears right next door. They also have amatuer comedy shows. Nice if you want to avoid drunk college freshmen.

Otherwise you go to the place where they sell burritos the size of your head.

make sure you get a salad on the side, preferably with french dressing. I cant describe it, but i hate eating anything green, but i love their salad. It likely has something to do with the golden fishes they sprinkle on top.

After eating goldfish salad and barbecue wings at Mother Bears, I'll proceed to Upland where I'll sample their stylings and purchase some growlers, enough to take to Nick's where I'll sink the biz. After that, I'll travel to the hologram concert, at which I will rape and murder a young blonde.

Seriously, among my personal best college moments my few visits to party with FC, Hawkins, and the llike. That year of the beer tree was a rough time but it was fun as shit. Sink the Bismarck is hands down the best drinking game ever. There is no contest. We loved it so much we so much we stole a fucking bucket and glass from it and played it for the next 2 years.

I didn't go to Mother Bears. It was not walking distance regardless, but certainly not in the rain. I'm not a god damned hobo.

Instead, I went to Upland. It sucked cock. Shitty food, too busy, and only one specialty beer that isn't available everywhere else.

And then I went to Yogi's, which was fantastic. A superb beer selection and at college prices. ++, would do business again.

Sublime reunited a couple years ago replacing the dead lead singer with a gentleman named Rome. Rome has the ability to sound exactly like the old lead singer when he wants to (especially on the calmer songs), but, on the whole, brings his own flavor, one that is mostly similar but certainly unique.

The drummer and bassist are original.

The end result is a band that sounds quite a bit like the original, but definitely not identical.

Plus they have their own new album out now, one which I like quite a bit. I'd recommend checking it out if you're a fan of the real Sublime. It's in the same vein.
