I am leaving to go to Vegas this coming Tues. through Saturday. I know alot of you guys have been out there since you have been 21. I say this because the last time I was out there was for a basketball tourney @ the age of 17. I fucking hated Vegas at that time. Now, I'm not going on limited funds, but I'm not going with an abundence of cash. I can gamble a bit and have a couple nice dinners with the gf's and still come out being able to but me a few nice drinks to fly home to. I'm looking at getting into a solid tourney NL poker style out there. Our hotel offers 40 + 5, with 2 tourney's a day. We are staying at the Sahara which is a lil down on the strip, but is connected to the Monorail. The Gf picked it out. 336 for each. Is there any other Casino's that run solid tourney's from 40-70 dollar tourney's. I heard Binnions has a tourney going, but I wasn't 100% sure if the site was up to date! Thanks for the help in advance, and go fuck yourselfs!

best structure for $40-$70 tourneys are Sahara, Planet Hollywood, and Treasure Island in that order. Those still aren't great though.

What time you flying out, and do you know of any small handed blackjack anywhere out there? I have never played much so I don't want to put alot on the table.

Generally the shittier the casino, the more likely you are to find small blackjack. Plenty of places downtown have $5/minimum a hand, but downtown is super shitty (I like it, though). The Stratosphere, which is very close to where you're staying, has $3/hand blackjack, I believe. Nicer places on the weekend have nothing but $25/hand minimum, and usually $15 during the week. If you want cheap blackjack - think cheap casino.

Felix, the only 3 dollar a hand blackjack I found was after 7 at Sahara on the Weekdays. I won about 150 bucks on that last night which made me happy. My gf won about 40 2 nights ago, and had her fill of some drinks. We had a great time at the Sahara. We spent some cash on the Monorail to get to the strip 3 out of 4 nights. I expected that. We went to downtown the other day/night and had a blast. I think the next time I go, I might stay downtown. It was a 9 dollar Cab ride and then hop on the Monorail for anything up on the strip. I played 2 Sit and Go's @ The Plaza and won 1 of those and got 3rd in one of them. Just terrible poker there but you win and you get 240. I'm not very good at poker, but I'm at the point to realize AWFUL poker. 240 easy money during a sit and go there. I pretty much had an amazing time, but not offense to the gf, but I think it would have been more fun with the guys. I had a great time, but I wanted to do alot more things, that the gf didn't want to. I had to bet on games while there, and couldn't watch the games because I had to go to a show, or play 3 dollar Blackjack. I came away about 100 bucks up with my sit and go win, but could have done a bit better had I been able to sit at the sports book all day Thursday. I refused to bet on the UConn game, which I would have won, if I wouldn't be able to watch it. I picked a 3 team Parlay for Friday and didn't watch a single part of any game. I won my Parlay, but I only slapped 10 on it. It was a fun ass week, but left alot to be desired.
