Lucky duck. I've been considering whether I should travel more in SE asia/India before going home (in August) for a significant time or spending that time in Amsterdam getting blazed for a week or two.

We should go to Hamsterdam instead, it's cheaper. Gaz will enjoy the ham and UB and I can enjoy the Wire reference.

Since last night, I've had to deal with leftover tomatoes that I had to scrape from the inside of the pan. I'm not very happy about it, and hope that my local farmer has a ripe batch of tomatoes tonight.

My lungs hurt.

I was going through security today at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. My shoes (aparently) set off the metal detector so I was asked to remove them and put them through the x-ray. I did as told and went through the x-ray just fine. But when it was time to put my shoes back on I had a big problem: I couldn't remember how to tie my shoes. I tried to tie them unsuccessfully 3 times before giving up and walking to a chair with my laces flopping around. I imagine I must have looked ridiculous.
