Earlier today following swim practice i was struck with a overwhelming craving for Mr. Pibb. It was all i thought about the last 15 minutes of practice, needless to say i embarked on a quest to find some following the conclusion of practice. To my dismay 6 gas stations and 2 supermarkets later my search turned no Mr. Pibb in the form of either a 12oz can or a 20oz bottle. I have yet to quench my craving for this heavenly drink, so i'm turning to my fellow Nubblites for help. If any of you can find a location that sells Mr. Pibb in the fountain, can, or 20 oz form (cold only) i am willing to reward you with a computer game of your choice upon my successful purchase of a Mr. Pibb. This is only awarded to the first person of course, and it must be found in the Warsaw area.
Here is a quick list of games that i have available.... Stronghold Age of Mythology Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 w/ corkscrew follies exp. Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 w/wacky worlds exp. Enter the Matrix IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles Impossible Creatures Iron Storm Madden Nfl 2003 Medieval Total War + Viking Expansion Rainbox Six 3 Ravens Shield Ghost Recon Tropico 2 Pirate's Cove Unreal II The Awakening Vietcong Air Raid Beach Head 2002 Battlefield 1942 +Road to Rome exp +Desert Combat Mod +EOD mod Grand Theft Auto Vice City Rise of Nations Return of the Incredible Machines The Hulk Return to Castle Wolfenstien Sim City 4 Command & Conquer Generals Elder Scrolls III the morrowind Commanche 4 Serious Sam Jedi Knight II Splinter Cell 1503 A.D. Red Alert II There is another spindle i left out, if you have any requests i can get it for you. Also anyone interested in any of these games you can get them from me for $10 and expansions for $5 |

burger king and/or Arby's... you don't even have to get out of your car to retrieve the sweet nectar.

if it's not burger king, then it's definitely Arby's... it's Pibb Xtra now though... also, Fazoli's next time you make it to fort wayne.
did you check the machines in front of zale's drugstore by ace hardware? I think those machines may be money... there are two in front of the store and two on the side facing ace... I believe it's the second two. if these machines do not carry the Pibb, they do carry Tahitian Treat... if you haven't tried this gem yet, do it now [ June 20, 2003, 12:56 AM: Message edited by: StabMaster Arson ] |

"Mr. PiBB and Pibb Xtra are not available in cans and bottles everywhere. There are many areas in the US where PiBB is not bottled by Coca-Cola bottling plants. Due to lack of capable facilities, the Dr Pepper Company leases the right to bottle Dr Pepper in a particular market to the highest bidder--either Coke, Pepsi or 7up. In some markets, Coke bids highest for the chance to bottle Dr Pepper (a very lucrative business) and in others, Pepsi or 7up gets the contract. In these areas where Dr Pepper is found in Pepsi or 7up vending machines, Coke will offer its own creation -- PiBB -- in response. In regions where Coke bottles Dr Pepper, PiBB is not produced. The bottling agreement with Dr Pepper comes with a "no competition" clause which states that Coke cannot produce their spicy cherry soda."
check out this site... http://www.misterpibb.com/availability_map.htm they have a map of where it's available in cans and bottles and many interesting facts. [ June 20, 2003, 12:50 AM: Message edited by: StabMaster Arson ] |

Hey, I think if you go that resturant called American Table, you can get a nice tall glass of Mr. Pibb there, with free refills if I'm not mistaken. But I'm not really sure, cause I haven't been there in a while.

I just went to zale's, both Arby's, Burger King, Hardee's, Wendy's and various machines along the way... to no avail. I was wrong on all counts. the zale's machines don't even have tahitian treat anymore. you may have to journey out of warsaw to get the object of your desire... I know the Arby's at the corner of washington center and coldwater carries it.

I know that Dairy Queen used to have it. I haven't checked it out for a great while...but I remember always having to order Mr. Pibb there when I was little instead of Dr. Pepper...so perhaps this location could be your mine of gold. Also, I just came from Ball State where they have Mr. Pibb in a machine (20oz bottle form). Just head down there.

I've checked every gas station i can think of in the Warsaw area, except the gas station by the old walmart. Gas Stations that used to sell Mr. Pibb a year ago no longer sell it, I remember the days when 20 oz's were two for a dollar (sighs).
As of now the closest one i know of is the gas station next to the Walmart in Columbia City, which just so happens to sell Mr. Pibb in the fountain form. |

After picking one of them up at said Sunoco station, the difference is that the Pibb Xtra tastes like liquid shit, while the classic Pibb does not.

Ahh i see, liquid shit, bummer. I found out the other day that you can buy a twelve pack of liquid shit, or pibb xtra, at the big owen's store. It may not be exactly what you want buckeye, but it's still says pibb.

Yes, I do know that this thread is dead, but I don't care. No one may give a shit about this anymore, but I have found a location where you can get classic Mr. Pibb. It's location is an Arbys in Muncie. The funny thing is that this thread is so old, but as soon as I saw that they had Mr. Pibb, I immediately thought of Nubblies.

We have a Jimmy John's that has Pibb Xtra down here, and I got it in anticipation of once again tasting the delectable flavor of traditional Pibb....but to my disappointment, it was sub-par.
I have yet to get it again. |

This has absolutely nothing to do with Mr. Pibb, but buckeye, are you still able to sell some games? I might be interested in purchasing Return to Castle Wolfenstein from you. I heard that game is badass.
