We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind, because your friends don't dance and if they don't dance then they're no friends of mine.

If you're like me and have lived outside of Indiana for more than a few years than you have the right to say that. Indiana isn't bad at all. Many benefits to this state than others.

I've lived here my whole life, and used to hate it pretty bad. Now that i'm pretty much living on my own, i've realized it's really not that bad of a place to grow up, but just there isnt shit to do...ever. I've never lived out of state before, so I can't say for sure that it would be better anywhere else, but I still think it blows ass, especially in the winter

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Mr. Blonde its weird how you and I are starting to be kinder, gentler souls to each other. Back to it though, well you know it's really hard to explain all of it. It's just those feelings you get about Indiana that make you realize that there is a benefit to living here than any place else. Building up Hoosier pride is basically how you attain the benefit feeling becaus eyou get more engaged and educated about the state and thus it all falls into place.

let's all attack VOL! WOOO!
but ganging up on you aside, it really made me sick reading that stuff you posted earlier about having hoosier pride and whatnot... i dunno, maybe i'm a bitch, but i don't like to get too sentimental about my hoosierness. i mean, whatever floats YOUR boat, but all that you said up there was just a bit too heartwarming for me. oh... and to clarify (something i have to do quite often on here).. i only said "fuck indiana" because i wanted to say "fuck indiana". there wasn't really any reason behind it. i just said it. well, typed it. |

I know me and a few other people here from Milan rarely post, but we view the boards at least once a week. I am among the few that posted since the beginning, although it used to be under a different name that id rather not bring to life.
I was one of the first 20 or so to sign up tho. [ June 23, 2004, 10:38 PM: Message edited by: Nathan ] |
