I think you're wrong, that's what I think. I love Christmas and everything about it. It's one time of the year where, for some unexplainable reason, I'm always at least quasi-happy.

I'm a fan of Christmas mostly because of the whole aspect of getting to spend a lot of time with your family and it (usually) bringing out the good nature in people.

Christmas time brings about an entirely different atmosphere...basically everywhere. Of course, the fact that it was raining this morning didn't do much for that atmosphere...but, in general, when the elements get more Christmassy...I'm a big fan.

I hate Christmas..It makes normal people happy, but not me. I like getting the gifts for my friends, but I'm always poor. And I think people make to big of a deal over it. And Since I found out, when I was little, that santa wasnt real..I never liked it!

silver and cold, cry me a fucking river. How much could you honestly spend on your friends? And even if you do spend quite a bit, don't they get you pretty decent gifts in return, so basically, it all evens out in the even. Christmas is fucking awesome and anyone who doesnt think so can lick my nuts.

I'm sure anyone who does think so is also quite capable of licking your nuts. But that's getting far ahead of the fact that no one ever would.

No guy would never actually lick my nuts, as i would not let them. Girls on the other hand lick my balls quite often.

.....right.

Anyway, I love Christmas. WHEN IT FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS. But....I find it to be a repeating pattern each and every year that the holiday season just doesn't feel like the holiday season all that much anymore.

Maybe it's my biting cynicism.

......right.

Christmas is okay. I too hate the fact of people getting ready and decorating for Christmas a week or so before Thanksgiving. But then again we do everything lastminute. Anyways, I'm right in the middle of the vote, I like some parts of it..and hate the others.

Chuck I agree with you....It wasnt always this way when I was a little kid christmas was this magical time of year when a fat man in a red suit left presents under the tree but as the years rolled on and the same old thing happened every year it got kinda old and after a while it justs seems like a day when no ones doin jack shit

I'm usually of the persuasion that Christmas is the most wonderful season of the year, but this year something seems different. I hadn't been able to figure it out until a couple of days ago when I came to the conclusion that Christmas spirit isn't about the decorations and any of that jazz, but spending time with your family and close friends. That in and of itself is what makes the Christmas season special for me, and I haven't been able to feel it as much this year, given the fact that I am over 1000 miles away from anybody I have known for more than 6 months. I usually hate those who adopt a "Bah Humbug" attitude, but I'm feeling more and more like that every day here (although I did change my template to sorta aleviate the problem... thanks 'Gaz.)

Christmas is an excuse to be happy for once. Okay, so your personal life might suck, and your grades might be suffering, but if you really do get into the holiday "spirit", then it doesn't really bug you at that point. For people like me, it comes about four days before christmas, when everyone is in town, and no one's at school. The days where people are always showing up at one another's house, without presents, but just to hang out. The best gift from your friends during the holidays is just to have everyone hanging out and letting everything go for at least this once every year. Christmas morning, it's getting phone calls at noon saying, "hey man what'd you get?". That is why Christmas kicks ass.

I love Christmas. Its my favorite time of year. I agree with Nalgas that its just not quite the same this year being at school, but one of the frats across the street from my dorm decorated their house with lights and they play Christmas songs all day long, and that makes me smile :] *side note, download dominick the donkey, its their favorite song*

i love the feeling that Christmas brings along with it, just being happy. And I love snow! and I love Christmas songs
i love Christmas :]

Nalgas, once we all get back to Warsaw, I'm sure you'll be more in the Christmas spirit. Only one more week for you and two for me.

I'm looking forward to this Christmas probably more than almost any other Christmas. Not so much just Christmas itself, but spending time with my best friends that I have gotten to see a couple times in the last 6 months.

I start Christmas in October. It's really pretty pathetic. But, hey! It gives me an excuse to be merry, right? Collectively my mom and I own about forty Christmas CD's . . . I Heart Christmas!

Except what's funny is that my family's always in pretty good spirits during the holiday season, but then come Christmas Eve or Christmas day, it's like people realize they don't like each other anymore. At my dad's we always play games with the entire family and we end up screaming at each other, and then people get mad at people for screaming at each other and there's always the obligatory reminder of "Oh, come on, it's CHRISTMAS!" My mom's side of the family, too. My brother and I will make fun of each other or fight over the egg nog or something and then there goes my mom - "Oh come ON, it's Christmas! Jesus Christ!" Really, I think I should start using this excuse all year 'round when someone does something to piss me off. God knows it's almost as valid

so christmas is fun... yes... until those christmas carols show up... honestly now. as a little kid maybe they were okay, but i've definitely had enough of them. christmas is good though... quite nice... living in tennessee snow doesn't really happen much so i figured that going to indiana for school i'd be in lots o' snow, but there's something weird with you indiana peoples weather... and your time zones... what's with that? anyway... this christmas template gives me joy inside especially with the snow...

i hope everyone has a good christmas
