I am organizing a group of people on my hall who want to skydive, and would like to extend the offer to anyone on Nubblies.

There is a group from my hall going to make a static line jump. This is the type of jump that both myself and BDH did for our first skydive. It is a very fun, low pressure skydive that gives you a feel for what the sport is like.

This is what you will be doing:

We are going on Saturday April 24th. The cost will be $110 (this is a DIRT cheap college rate that you can get by showing your college ID).

We'll be at Skydive Richmond located in Richmond Indiana, roughly 45 minutes east of Indy.

If you are interested in going, you can meet us there, and join the group of first-timers coming from Ball State. If you go to Ball State, and want to go, then we could provide transportation for you. However, if you're in Indy or Bloomington or Warsaw, then you would have to get yourself there.

The day will consist of a 4-hour class (it goes by fast, 'cause you're nervous

) followed by a skydive. You should plan on being there all day if you go (8am ish to Sunset), but you could be done as early as 2pm if you've got other plans.

If you want to go, let me know. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME YOU ARE GOING TO COME UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO COME. I am making reservations for a group, and need to be as exact as I can with the number of people going. So if it sounds great, and you want to go, but can tell that you're going to end up backing out at the last second for whatever reason, don't say you'd like to go, that's very important. (<----Bolded and Capitalized to stress importance. Basically, if you tell me you're going...your ass better be there

)

There is a 250 lb. weight limit on this, which shouldn't be a problem for most of you.

If you do this, it will be something you remember for the rest of your life...ask BDH if you don't believe me.

Ugly, if at any point during the summer you'll be doing something like this, make sure to contact me as I'd love to do this, but the 24th is a bad day for me. Hope this goes well.
