Okay, this idea popped into my head a day or so ago, while I was looking through the Featured Member thread. However, in this one, you will make your assumptions based on the most recent person to register's screename, avatar, intitial post qualities, and so on. Basically it's the preview review of possible posters. With that we have......
Nathan This kid seems weird at first impression. Seems to post very selectively, almost nervous in a sense. Judging by screename though, he doesn't seem to be afraid of people figuring out who he is eventually, so that could be a positive or negative thing for him. The ewok avatar, while cool, is at the same time kind of creeping me out, not totally sure why, but yeah. Right now Nathan is a 50/50 chance of being long-term poster. |

The current newest member is:
FuzZ This person has only posted once, and he posted in the Download of the day thread. Many new members do this, but this person posted a song that I not only love, but also recommend awhile ago. Now since first impressions are everything, this person is already pretty cool in my book. |

Hmm, this is quite fun, either remain a mystery man, or reveal who I am. Theres nothing to hide, I am Nathan from michigan, a long time internet friend w/ orgazmo, we played ultima online together a few years back. Me and FuzZ are real life friends, and FuzZ played UO along w/ me and Orgazmo aka "Hell-Duck". Also there was "Smokey" and another person who I cannot remember.
I am not nervous to post fruit, alot of the things you guys talk about I cannot really comment on becuase they seem to be inside things that I cannot relate to. IE "Edgewood Porno". Also im shy IRL, not posting much goes along with my personality. I assume you say im a bit weird based on your response to my download of the day, NIN - Something I Can Never Have. We all have different musical interest, so I can understand why me liking NIN might make you seem weird. I too once thought NIN was a weird band, maybe it was there most known song "closer", or the fact that there band name is NIN. Anyways, after reading about trent reznor and listening to there music alot lately, I have a new found respect for the band, they make extremely good music IMO. Constance is a girl from my school here in michigan I talk to occasional online and in my homeroom. Shes big on the internet and such, and rather smart, so I gave her the nubblies.net URL to have something to do when shes bored. Anyways, thats about it, hope I dont still come off weird... Just felt like letting you all in on my deal rather then being an anonomous poster. -Nathan |

Holy fuck how's it goin guys, it's Dark-Rain...i'd be the other person next to "hell-duck" and "smokey" (spyder, King Spyder). We actually were trying to get back into UO around april or may but could not find a good shard. They have all sucked huge balls since VoE went down a few years ago.
I don't remember Nathan as well but I remember FuzZ pretty well. Are you guys playing any shards right now or no? |

Actually I was probably the FuzZ you knew more often... I think you know the current FuzZ as Troth? But FuzZ is truely FuzZ's name, on VOE I took it over because I ended up playing way more then him.

Oh and as far as UO goes, we just got back into OSI on Great Lakes... Its around 12 bucks a month like FuzZ said, but its worth it for me. Its nice having developers to update the game and garentee your shit will be there the next day, unlike VOE which just kinda ended out of no where. Also, when I quit OSI a few months ago (at the time I thought for good), I sold out, making around $700 dollars. Using the old montly fee price, $10, we are able to see I had made enough money to play for 70 months. However, I that account was only 36 months old, so I really made 240.. But many of the months my parents paid and forgot to ask for the 10 dollars anywyas, and it was all paid for over a 36 month time period little by little, so getting a huge payoff of $700 dollars from a game felt like all brand new cash.
I also just quit Star Wars Galaxies, good concept for a game, but was lacking content and got very repetative... Anyways, in a matter of 1 month playing that game, I just made $115 dollars. So sure monthly fees suck, but if you know what your doing when you quit, you can make way more when then what you put into the game. |

I just have no desire to pay for OSI, despite the fact I could in fact end up making money I just really don't feel like paying. I would play a free shard, but OSI is not for me.

Ya I hear ya, plus skill gain is alot slower, and your limited in certain things, such as your language.. Your right, you wouldn't last long in OSI if you play anything like you did on VOE =P

lol, we had a pimp town made for us by the admins girlfriend or something tho. In OSI its not all that restricted, you can swear, but cant say racial slurs and such. For some reason you can get suspended or banned for saying "gay" or "rape" though... Pretty lame.

I got banned from a shard b/c I was talking about abusing women. I guess one of the GMs had been beaten before...and I said something about beating her. The head Admin said that I was, "the worst human being that he will ever cross paths with." Fuck him, and fuck New Sosoria.
BTW, I'm Spyder. |

OSI is origin systems inc? maybe... Something along the lines of origin. Its the company that created the ultima series, and then ultima online. Shards are like servers, if youve played any online game you probably can relate to what that is. Im not sure why UO calls them shards though.

Hmm, still sounds very foreign to me, but not quite as foreign, at least I have some sort of miniscule idea as to what some of it means now. Thanks.

Mmm...Constance. I love your avatar.
By the way, maybe this makes no sense, but did you get your name from the book Redwall? |
