As I'm sure you know...Nubblies his a huge roadblock of shit the other day. The problem was one that was frequently encountered right after it was moved to a new server...but, fortunately enough, it hadn't happened for quite some time. It was remedied in the past by Active restarting the server; however, since his company has grown so much between then and now, restarting the server whenever this website goes apeshit, a website that he doesn't make anything from, has become more than a little impractical.

Some tech support that work for him were looking at the problem...but after a few days of work they seemed to be stuck in as much of a rut as I. The only reasonable solution was to upgrade the board...which was something that we really needed to do anyway considering we were operating on a piece of scripting that was pretty old...considering the rate that technology ages.

The board that we're on right now is quite a bit better. Of course, we don't know where everything is instinctively...which makes those who are more veteran not like it so much...but that's something that time will heal quite nicely. This move was/is really a good long-term maneuver.

The bad part of the move is that I now have to reinstall a lot of the hacks (extra features) that I had on the other board. It shouldn't take too long...we'll see how that goes.

Since it's been updated internally, I figure it could also use a bit of a facelift. Of course, black and yellow are the Nubblies colors...and they will be forever, but I thought that perhaps rearranging the colors a bit could be helpful. As of right now (as I type this), the table borders are a dark yellow...but many have complained that they don't like it a'tall due to being too bright. Personally, I'm a big fan...but I'm only one person...

Basically, what I'm saying is that everything should be alright from now on... The colors and shit will be kinda rotating through the next few days, but the basic interface that you see is probably going to remain mostly the same (with the addition of a few features here and there). If you have any input as to what features you'd like to see implemented...or how you think the colors should be, go ahead and post. I'd much rather have some of your input than rush into this thing 80% blindcocked. Thank you for your time.

I'd have to say, I'm not a big nfan of the new format and stuff. I'm sure as it is more fine tuned it'll look better, and I do realize that this board will function better, but I'm just saying...

A few things:
-way to much yellow on the front page, it's almost blinding. I'm sure Titan could offer a few suggestions with color.
-a few more graphics are needed. Avatars back would be nice, and i'm sure you'll add the sexbear and stuff back in later...
-Rate this member? thats one unneeded feature, and having our custom titles back would be nice...
Ok, i'm going to stop my bitching, because I realize this is all stuff Orgazmo is going to fix, he just needs time, so there really isn't much of a point for me to say this now...

Anyways, you need any help, I'm not sure what I could do, but just let me know.

I like the new format..I don't think it's too much yellow at all...I think it's fine and wonderful.

It's a bit clunky still, and lacks a certain bit of Nubblies personality. I know how difficult it can be to adapt to a new setup, so I guess we'll just have to bear with it as you get this all sorted out. If you need any graphics help or anything, I'm not too hard to find...

I to do not like the new format at all, way to much yellow for me. I think it will be better once we get our name color back, post count, avatar, custom titles, ect..

I'm not a big fan but I'm sure with some work and such that I'll get used to it.

Also, another thing to take into consideration...which is kinda assumed, I guess, is that whenver you see something that looks absolutely terrible...it simply means that I was in the middle of implementing it and then had to leave. A good example of this is the posting icons (profile, quote, pm, etc.) right now. So yeah, don't you worry...time will heal, my friends, time will heal.

In the old board, I added quite a few "hacks." (features). Some of the hacks added fields to your profile...meaning that the board would look at the specific file dedicated to you to see how it should act. The username glow hack added 2 new profile fields...one for the font color, and one for the glow color. When I upgraded, I lost all of the hacks that I had added, but the new board came with some new features. One of the new features is the ability to allow the members of the board change the name that they are known as (while still keeping their login name the same). Of course, I'm not going to let you guys change your name whenever you want...so I disabled it. Unfortunately, the board looks at the same spot that the "font color" from the previous board is found to see what it should call you. Even though the feature is disabled...that just means that you can't change it yourself. The board still checks to see if you have a different name that you are supposed to be known as and, shittily enough, it looks at the same spot where the font color of the username glow hack is stored...thus the reason that all of your dicked up names are colors...

To say the least, even though the new upgrade is still in upgrade form....I like the new look. Like many others, there are a few things which bother me, but I realize that not all is permanent or has even been totally looked at yet.

Patience is a virtue, so I'm going to be an uncharacteristic Nubblite here and just wait in time....
