There are at least four, but I think five threads on the new 'A Perfect Circle' album. I don't care if it's made of solid gold, isn't it a little accessive? Talk about spam, it's in like 3 forums, and all started by the same people. Lighten the load, please. 'My dear god!'

A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
First Spin - Thirteenth Step Thirteenth Step (the pre-album thread) No, Last time I checked, I wasn't blind, things could have changed since then though. But they haven't. #3 is not a topic about A Perfect Circle. However, the first post that starts the whole point of the thread is about A Perfect Circle. Not to mention, the best thing about the "Next Single" thread is that more than one round can go on at a time. Tell you, what, I'll delete the "First Spin - Thirteenth Step" since it already got condensed into the other review one. Then there will be only two the pre and post. They are all about different topics.
Two are different reviews. One is about pre-release info. And the other is for the next single. Having multiple topics keeps all the discussions organized to their specific area focus. Last time I checked, we had 1.12026 gigabytes of room on Nubblies, so taking up space obviously isn't a big issue. So what are the real downsides to having more topics? Some people might not like it. Huh, well, I'm willing to sacrifice that to help keep nubblies organized. |

I re-iterate, Next Single... is not a topic about A Perfect Circle.
There are now only 2. Are we all un-befuddled now? [ September 17, 2003, 03:53 PM: Message edited by: Titan ] |

It is as of now.
Point: Post, pre, present, next, first, last...whatever, they can all go in the same thread quite readily. The next single is a little different, but all of the rest follow a timeline. Edit: This can be moved to the rants. It didn't start off as one, just an observation. I also just wanted to pull a Titan. Shhh...don't say anything. Let's see if they notice. The pre-album jitters was started a long time ago and was there to be discussed in the Arts forum. Then I made my official review (like I always do) and that was an actual post-album review of the album which obviously has to go in the Reviews forum.

1)Why was it in the art forum to begin with?
2)Could it not be moved to the review forum? 3)Could you not just add to Pliedes's thread? 4)If for some reason it had to be a thread that you started, could you not have had Pliedes post his under your thread? I'm sure you see him from time to time. You are roomates. [ September 17, 2003, 04:05 PM: Message edited by: tonguegina ] |

Just because we could theoretically jam them all in the same thread doesn't mean it's a good idea. Sure, they all relate to APC, but to different aspects of the album/band.
It's similar to the whole concept of why we have different forums in the first place. Sure they're all posts, but they are posts on different subjects. The more we break things down the more specific and accurate we can be with our discussions. Of course there is a certain point where it gets ridiculous, but we, sir, have not reached that point by any means. |

What the hell? It's fucking taken care of, what the fuck is the problem? It's not like Nubblies is going to crumble under our very feet and we'll all be cast into the depths of hell.

2)Can you stick your dick in a guys ass? Sure, but thats not where it belongs. 3)My thread was for my specific type of review. You had already made a thread for Titan's review. My review was my thoughts during the 'first spin' of the record. Titan's was an in depth query into all aspects of the album. 4)Again, two different types of reviews. | |

My dear god. It's all the fucking same. My point of this thread was just to say, 'Damn, there are alot of threads about this fucking thing? Too many? I think so, you be the judge.' I didn't mean, go around deleting them. Basicly, a review is a review no matter how many times you listen to the damn thing. If you listen to it the first time and review, great. Listen to it a couple more, different thoughts? Great, post again. You can do that more than once in a thread. Just add the words 'After further listening...'. Get your dicks out of eachother's asses. As Pliedes pointed out...they don't belong there.

tonguegina, here's the deal.
I'm not defending Pliedes at all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the threads I created. The fact that you aren't able to discern between a review and a topic in the arts forum talking about the future release of an album doesn't mean jack shit. Get over yourself, and get over it. I can tell the difference. Are you reading the posts? It's like I'm talking to my family here. Listen, pre-anything discussions are great. Just like the one I started for when we see the Peppers. Am I going to start a new thread afterwards, RHCP Live! Part 2? No. It's a waste. I'm going to go to the thread and then review it from there. Just add to it. That's all it takes. |

It's not all the same at all. Not one bit. Don't make such obviously wrong statements.
Then don't start a new thread, thats your perogative. Just as it is ours to keep nubblies organized. As to the dick-ass statement. That analogy was used to completely dismantle your feeble-minded statements. Then you use it to make a false homosexual dig. Way to go. I would also like to point out, that by making this thread you started another thread on the topic of Thirteenth Step! Why didn't you post it in another thread? Thats right, because it's something completely different. Just by making this topic, you proved my points. Thank you. Oh, and this still should've gone in rants. |

It's a review you fucking idiot. That's why the review forum existed... if people just added reviews to other posts, then we wouldn't have a review forum. Not to mention you're the one who "reserved" the Review topic for me anyway, you didn't seem to have a problem with it then.

Are you a little sore that Titan didn't post his review in the thread you started? Quote:

No, I'm fine with the fact that Titan deleted my topic to start his. We only did that to be humorous, and I expected as much. I still don't think that what I'm saying is getting across. I've had more responsive conversations with myself.
That's because when you talk I listen. Yeah, you are one of the few people that listen to me. That's why I'm here. Do you think they'll ever understand? I'd give up. I can tell you're tired of saying the same things over and over again. You're right. ------------------------------------- I want to be cool, too. This one's good. This one's better. I can talk to myself too.
Will tonguegina ever get over himself and admit he might have been wrong? Of course not. But he will prove our point over and over again every time he says something. But will he ever realize the difference between the threads and realize the need things organized? Probably not. Isn't it sad. Yes it is. Yeah you can you stupid fuck. No I can't, it would be nice if I could, but you don't have to try and make me feel better by pretending I can. Oh what do you know... |
