I asked Orgazmo about stickers a few days ago actually. Whatever happened to the money that BDH was trying to collect last year, or did he not get any? (there might have been other people collecting, but he's the only one i remember) How much would it cost to print up stickers that just say "Nubblies.net" or something? Perhaps someone could look into that and costs and stuff, I'd buy some.

How about everyone who feels like it just prints off the flyers for themselves and do whatever they feel like with them (such as replaces toilet paper tubes with them). I'd love to have stickers because then I could put one... or two... or 25 on my car. And advertise everytime I roadie down country club.

I found a fun website where you can make your own bumper stickers, and I'm be more than happy to order some, except they're a tad bit pricy. They're basically about $5 a piece which I think is too much, but I'm having fun making up stickers!

Okay, see, this is all really unnecessary, we've been through all of this before. Bumper stickers are no good because you can't place them everywhere, you can place them on bumpers. Something a little more versatile would be better.

We already have a design with the slogan "Where controversy lies." - which, by the way, is the best slogan ever. With the place where we'd planned on getting them, we'd have to get 1,000 minimum ('cuz you have to buy a lot if you get colour) and they work out to only $0.15 per sticker. That's a fabulous-ass price, but the hard part is that we have to collect $150 and people just want the stickers, they don't want to actually donate 10 or so dollars to get some.

If someone wanted to spend a little money to make a little money, they could go ahead and buy the stickers with their own money and re-sell them at a dollar a piece. $150 for 1000 stickers. 1000 stickers sold at $1 a piece = $1000

$1000 - 150 = $850

Thats a decent chunk of change assuming someone could sell all 1000 of them for a dollar each. Even if you sold them for 50 cents a piece you would still make $350.

However, splitting the cost among a group of perhaps 10 people, each contributing $15, would be less risky. If profit is not an issue then all the stickers could be given away for free. If profit is an issue, the stickers should be sold to local residents (possibility of Nubblies discount such as buying at-cost, in this case cost being $0.15 a piece). The free stickers should be given to people who are outside of the Warsaw area such as those in college.

OR

The 10 people in the group I mentioned before, could each sell 15 stickers for a dollar a piece or 30 for 50 cents a piece, thereby recouping their initial investment of $15. Then, after the initial investment is taken care of, the stickers could be given out for free.

OR

Do it the slow way (donations) and collect the money from people until $150 is reached and then go from there.

The point is no matter how this is done, it will take some organization. Arrangements need to be made on what design will be chosen, who will order the stickers, and how many everyone will get. Resale of the stickers may or may not be an issue depending upon what everyone wants.

For this idea to get off the ground some decisions need to be made.

We've been through all of this before. All of you will say you'll give $10, but you won't when it comes time to pay the piper. We're all poor students, we just have to face that. It's still possible, but collecting the money right now isn't. Maybe it'll work if we say ahead of time that people need to have their 5-10 ready and we'll collect it all over christmas break.

It's easy as fuck if we can get the money, there's no reason to complicate it. Nobody's going to fucking buy a 5" x 2" sticker for a fucking dollar, that's a rip-off and a half.
