COME ON YOU YANKS

If you have an ebay & paypal account, you can make $20 in about 5 minutes. All you have to do is use a phone bidding service for ebay one time.
Just follow these god damned steps: Go here (one of them...try not to double up on them): http://www.unwiredbuyer.com/cgi-bin/...fceb577f3dc8ee http://www.unwiredbuyer.com/cgi-bin/...cec8628c1ec098 http://www.unwiredbuyer.com/cgi-bin/...446d54ecfeca3b http://www.unwiredbuyer.com/cgi-bin/...3246beef71ff35 http://www.unwiredbuyer.com/cgi-bin/...49a55cba1f3934 (That's my referral link, I'll get $5 if you do this. Thanks.) Once there, just sign up on the right side. Simple shit. Log in to your account, confirm your ebay details, and you're up and running. After that, open up ebay in a different window. Search for something cheap (baseball cards are great for this). Find an item that is very cheap (preferably something that already has 1 bid (that way you probably won't win as you know there is other interest in the item). The item should have 3-4 minutes left. After you find something, add it to your watch list. Now switch back to the unwired buyer website. In your account, go to "Watch List" and click on update. It will automatically show the item that you just added to your ebay watch list. It should also say that it's going to call you. This is good. Don't touch a fucking thing else. You're done with this website. Keep an eye on the ebay auction itself. When it's down to 1-2 minutes, you should get a phone call with an automated voice. Don't listen to what the bitch says...she'll jabber on wasting priceless seconds and eventually making you miss the end of the auction. Just follow my guide: Right when she starts talking, enter your 4 digit pin number (you made this when you made your account). After you do that, hit * Now listen to the bitch. She'll tell you what the auction is currently at and will ask you if you want to bid the minimum amount. Hit whatever number says "yes." The bitch will ask you to confirm by pressing a different key. Do this and then refresh your ebay page. It will tell you that you've been outbid (probably). After this, you can hang up the phone and read the email you just got from the company saying that they'll give you your $20 in 2-5 days. There ya go. |

It appears this whole thing hinges on being outbid at the end, which I would rate as a less-than-definite expectation. The EV of this thing is tough. Say the baseball card you're bidding on is around $5 or so (when you include shipping, etc). The "be outbid and win $20" scheme has to work at least 75% of the time in order for this to be profitable. It needs to work significantly more than 75% of the time in order for it to be worth all the hastle.
The question is, what % of the time can you expect to be outbid? If it's 90% or more, sounds like this isn't too bad of a deal if you don't mind burning 15 minutes on it. |

Also, it's very easy to find a card with a high bid of .99 and shipping of 1.50 or so. Getting outbid happens nearly everytime since you're bidding the minimum amount possible. Since ebay lets the auction winner win for the lowest possible value, a vast majority of the time the current winner's bid is a decent amount over the current going price for the auction...especially if they're the only bidder and the amount is pennies.
