The bailout(s) and the war have to paid for. The dollar is worth half than what it was 8 years ago. One dollar bought 1.16509 Euros exactly 8 years ago. On Friday it bought 0.790077. It has to kill the republicans that Clinton left a surplus and W. is leaving a bill over a trillion.

The war should have never been started. McCain will end it in a responsible manner (God I wish the world could see a simulation of what would have happened under Obama's "immediate troop withdraw"... talk about begging for WWIII... there's a reason he backed off that stance).

Social security is bullshit. It's welfare for old people. You get it whether you're rich or poor, and you get it for damn near 20 years nowadays. Anchor the minimum age to the life expectancy. When you're ten (eight?) years away from the life expectancy finish line, social security kicks in, but only based on need. Bill Gates gets a fuckin social security check. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'd say only about $.25-$.30 of every social security dollar that gets distributed should actually be distributed.

The above two things will single-handedly more than solve this country's excess spending problem... but that doesn't mean they should only stop there. Stop giving kids dirt-cheap loans and grants to go to any-old college where they'll get any-old degree. Incentivize universities to actually be worth a damn by not supporting kids who want to go get their Alcoholism Degree at State University thus further throwing their chances of learning individual responsibility out the window. You're poor and you want to go study something technical like computer science or engineering? Maybe we can help you out. You want to go to Arizona State to study Art History? Go fuck yourself.

Teachers are way the fuck overpaid. Granted, this is a state and local issue. But why should some woman get $40,000-$50,000 a year for babysitting 6 hours a day 9 months a year? Make class sizes larger or cut their pay. This is especially the case with elementary teachers... I can see arguments for high school teachers actually having some value.

I could go on and on and on but I told a friend I'd meet her at the dog park.

One of my very close friends actually does teach six years olds, and I have another close friend teaching ten years olds, and its not as easy as you think. Shit, have you ever babysat before? Hell, under the Republicans we're already carrying out attacks in two of those three countries right now.

Our far right foreign policy has damaged our image around the globe and made us LESS secure. There are consequences for the kind of shit we're doing. If McCain wins we'll still be in Iraq four years from now.

But the thing that really pisses me off is what you think about education. You want to devalue something like art history because you're probably too stupid to understand and appreciate it. Getting an education isn't just about getting a job. You'd really deny some poor person aspiring to go to college because you don't value what they want to study? Go to hell.
