The Land of the Free
 

My roommate and I were discussing tonight, "What is the freest country?"

We both agreed that it is probably no longer the US, if it ever was the US in the first place. While the US might still be near the top of the list (could be near the bottom too), there may now be other countries whose citizens are socially and economically more free than the US.

Or maybe you think that the United States is still The Land of the Free, it's entirely your opinion.

I leave the definition of "free" up to you, but the question remains:

Which nation's citizens are the most free?

Freedom is subjective
I'd prolly go with the US though, green is a good starting point for freedom

It's a small nation like Gibralter or something for sure. U.S. isn't even close.

I think Gibralter is still a colony. Here's a nomination for Somalia. No government AND pirate friendly. Honorable mention to Netherlands for pragmatic view on soft drugs and prostitiution.

The Bahama's, the European micro states.
