Was in Beijing for a few days and now Shanghai. Class trip. Doing a mix of visiting companies and organizations and cultural stuff like the Great Wall. Learning a ton here actually. Pretty eye opening. Valuable trip. I'll share some pics when not limited by shitty Chinese Internet.

It was fairly bad the night we landed. Like you definitely noticed it as soon as you stepped off the plane. A buddy of mine walked around by himself for 45 minutes that night and had to come back to the hotel because he was having a hard time breathing. The rest of our time there the pollution levels were pretty low. I wore a mask around for most of the time anyway.

No, and I will add that Salt Lake City is a creepy fucking city ... our hotel was on a street that only had other hotels on it. There were 10-15 hotels and not even a gas station, drug store, or anything nearby.
