Who would be down for doing this? Maybe in Summer/Fall? That should leave everybody some time to save up money/schedule around it.

I think that if we got a big enough group of us committed and we looked around our various networks, we could get some kind of travel agency to help us get discounted rates on planes/hotels (although I'm just pulling this out of my ass, I know nothing about the travel industry). But that option would make it more affordable for those of us who have to travel across a whole ocean.

Would anybody be down with this idea? Imagine a week of Nubblites wandering the streets of Amsterdam, with nothing to do but drugs and prostitutes. Best week ever?

I'd rather go in the fall when it's less crowded. There's hookers and weed in other parts of Europe as well. I read something that Netherlands will be tightening its regulations on selling smoke to Dutch people only and they have to join a club or some silly shit. Haven't heard much about that in a while, but I image that will probably be ignored in typical Dutch fashion.

Blonde, don't worry about hotels. Get one after you get there. There's thousands in all price ranges. You get a better deal once you're there from a place thats not on the radar here. There's always the TI where you can book a room as well. Tell them what you want to pay and in what area and it's done.

Last times I went, I tried booking only a few days in advance and my options were really limited. (This is for hostels, 20 euro/night range, as opposed to hotels, 100 euro/night range... besides price there are pros and cons for each.) I would book in advance... that said, if it is a hostel you're looking for, no need to look for cheap deals since they're already pretty cheap.

You have to stay at Okura. It's something like 100 EUR a night but should be 500. It has a Michelin stared restaurant for Christ's sake. Biggest value hotel EVER. I've stayed there 4 times.

It's true. The architecture is incredible, the street/canal layout very beautiful, there is a great music scene, beautiful tall blonde girls, excellent indonesian food...

All of which are 10x more fun with drugs.
