Europeans LOVE Obama
They love him so much and they don't know anything about him!
Yesterday we were talking to a broker via Bloomberg chat. She says "Good morning and congratulations!" "Good morning. Why the congratulations?" - We didn't realize what she was talking about "On the election, congratulations, unless you wanted the white guy to win" My boss gets on the chat and says: "Actually, we wanted the white guy to win." "I cannot believe you." She didn't talk to us for hours. The headline of the free paper everyone reads on the tube has a huge headline: "The day America became a little bit cool again" But none of them have any idea who Obama is. The worship him like a God, and have no clue! It's so frustrating. You think Americans are closed minded? Just talk to some Europeans about politics. They believe what they are saying so much, but havn't an inkling of why they believe it! |
 The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. |

of course they don't, the news has been waaay biased, just as the majority of blacks voted purely on his skin, and as UB says, he's more like Europe, and as Obama kept saying, McCain = Bush.
Besides that he's the first black president, as much as that has nothing to do with politics, it is a success story for humanity. Also, fuck Europeans. |
