Hello all "nubblites" and company. As we all know, many who post on this forum are either conservative, republican, both, or generally sit on the right side of centrist views. Many of the "elder-nubs" are also very strong Bush supporters. Any liberal, independant, democratic, or leftist readers know as well as i do the Bush II administration has been the bearer of bad news both for the US and for the rest of the "global community" (funny i mentioned that). this post is in spirit of our (Ingsoc's) new song "The Americans Are Coming", and the construction of my new website "Dissent For Democracy". Slowly but surely, evidence is surfacing that reveals everything I've been saying all along to be TRUE, not just an opinion. No WOMD, constant story-changing, the PATRIOT Act(s), defying the UN and then asking for support; the inconsistency never ends. Everything leads to the creation of the new "American Empire", as I like to call it. We are not who our leaders are telling us we are. The American politicians in control are the real terrorists, and Bush is running the whole thing. We are being represented by these assholes, and as American citizens, we have the right to know the truth about our leaders and what they are doing in our names. Theses two sites contain a vast amount of information CNN, CSPAN, and any other major media corporation from the US wont show or tell you. The shwa.org/topic/etc. link is a whole article expanded over 9 webpages (i think), so utilize the next page and previous page links. Hopefully I will deterr some of the strongest Bush supporters by exposing this information. There is ALOT Bush is doing that he wont tell us in his so-eloquently-arranged speeches, and there is alot we will find out from those same speeches that we will not like. He's already losing support for the war from his colleagues and American citizens now that everyone knows he decieved us all with his doctored "evidence" and big talk of threats that were never there at all. Here's a tidbit: Afghanistan was planned long before 9/11, those mobile bio-chem labs in iraq- actually just a pair of artillery weather balloon trucks the brits paid for and gave to them back in '87(dont quote me on the date), the infamous caches of WOMD- they were never there and the CIA knew it. There hasnt been anything close since '91, and one final bit: the so-called welcoming of liberation troops in iraq- yeah right. you know that statue crowd you saw on cnn? you know, the one likened to the masses at the fall of the berlin wall? they were imported from saddam city and pre-selected by our friends in the pentagon. and that US flag over the statues face just prior to its tearing down- that was the very same flag flying over the pentagon on 9/11. there is a whole section on the shwa.org/topic/... site.

Elections are coming up soon, and im sure we've all gotten the heartwarming email from the shmucks running bush's campaign asking for donations to support his running for re-election. The people of America need a leader, not a liar. The problem is, will anyone be able to pull us out of the mess he dragged us into? In three short years he's derailed our economic status that both Carter and Clinton busted their asses off to fix. Oil is at 10 billion a year. Thats way more than in it was back in the crisis of '77. The only thing Bush hasnt fucked up is our natural gas, which is still on a flatline since its last peak.

To sum this all up, Bush is at large and needs to be stopped before its too late. I feel obligated to notify as many people as possible. This war, the witchhunts, the false claims, the outright lies, the defiance, the deciet, it all has to stop if we are truly trying bring peace to the Earth. To you Republicans and associating parties: reconsider who you want controlling your "destiny". can you trust someone who stabbed you in the back? This post wasnt aimed to alienate you, or rub it in your face. This post was aimed to make you think, after all, your parties are the majority in control right now. We kids are the the future, but we have no future if we continue to let tyrants run our lives for us.

We need leaders, not liars. Thank you.

I love how you, the "independent" equate good econmies with democratic presidents. Do you not realize the polices of a previous administration have enormous effect on the economy of the current administration?

my take on it is this... you can't completely trust any media, be it the CNN's and other news channels or the independent shit. They're all skewing the truth to suit their needs. This Lugo fella thinks that fighting the system and shouting 'bring down the "tyrants"' is actually change something. I went through a similar phase, I spent a lot of time and energy trying to piss off the world and change everything I thought was wrong, but it gets real old real fast and sooner than later he'll realize that when you have bills to pay and a job to try to hold, there isn't time to fuck around spouting what your ideal America would be. If you really want to change something, how about going to school, studying politics, and actually do something instead of spewing rhetoric? Changing the system from within will get you a lot further than trying to fight it.
I agree with some of his sentiments, and I too staunchly oppose Bush and have since his "election", but if he really wants to sway votes in an attempt to dethrone King George II, he'll have to do more homework than linking to a couple of unsubstantiated sites.

What's wrong here is called politics. Do you honestly believe that any president, no matter what party he belongs to, is going to give you the whole truth of the matter? For every action made by a president, there will always be someone that opposes it.

Ex: Invade Iraq- a very bad person is removed, but some lives are lost.

Ex 2: Import goods- some domestic laborers lose jobs, consumers receive cheaper goods.

It's called a tradeoff. While politicians may be saying at the moment that they will "save" jobs in the U.S., this will not be done at the expense of imports. No one in their right mind will do that. I don't really want to get into too much macroeconomic theory here, so I will just leave it at that.

All of this boils down to the simple fact that most government officials are afraid to do something out of the norm that will destroy the nation. They mostly concentrate on short-term decisions because voters only think consider current affairs.

That's why Bush gets bashed so much. He inherited a nation that had been with low investor and consumer confidence. It was inevitable that we would have high unemployment in this atmosphere (that's why inflation is so low right now and why people aren't starving in the streets). 9/11 was a freak accident, just like Pearl Harbor was. We handled ourself well after Pearl Harbor, although that did not manifest itself until years past. What makes you think we will be plunged into oblivion now?

I apologize for the length of this and any spelling errors (I'm in a bit of a hurry), but I just get sick of people complaining about things like this. I guess the main point I'm trying to make is we get the good and the bad with each president. Bush isn't a saint, but you can't claim Clinton was either.

Thats not a stray bullet. Thats from point blank range. Why are the only casualties of this "war" on foreign soil? If this was a real war, they'd retaliate on US soil. If terrorism was that serious, why havent they hit us when we have all our lights on the iraqi desert or liberia, or all our lights off in the blackout? why arent we paying attention to korea or russia? why do all the bad guys come out with tapes after they are presumed dead? why are ALL the bad guys ex-teammembers?

Karnaj, do you consider Vietnam, Korea, and Desert Storm to be wars? How about the Revolutionary War? All of these are classified as wars, but the battles that were fought generally took place in one nation.
It is hard for every war to be fought on each other's soil when they are located very far away from each other. We have allies in that area of the world who allow us to have bases. Iraq is not allied with Canada or Mexico. Maybe the fact that we haven't been invaded is because our government is doing a pretty good job. Personally, I would worry more about the Chinese than anyone else, but that's a moot point. I guess my only real question is, would you prefer it if the Iraqis were allowed into the U.S. so they could kill us?
