This would have been a contest last year had the idea been brought forth in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it was not. This is a new year, though...one that will grace Nubblies with a carving contest.

For Official Nubblies Contest #15, the participants have a simple task: Carve a god damned pumpkin. There are no limitations. If you want to use templates from somewhere, go ahead. If you want to freeball it, be my guest. I don't care. All I need from you is a nice picture of both you and your final product. Once you have that, feel free to post it in this very thread along with details about your pumpkin (did you use a template/inspiration/whatever else you'd like to say). After the deadline has passed, I'll create a formal thread with all of the submissions for a vote to take place. Simple shit.

Rules

Feel free to submit any amount of carvings that you please. When the final vote is done, it will be by user, not by pumpkin. That means that, if I submit 2 different pumpkins, and pumpkin a gets 2 votes and b gets 3 votes, I will get a total of 5 votes.

The deadline for carving submissions will be midnight on October 31, 2006.

Again, the picture of your carving MUST INCLUDE YOU, you son of a bitch.

This is a contest that absolutely anyone can participate in and have a decent shot at acquiring a delicious Golden N...so let's see some god damned participation. Please.

My submission, aptly titled "Hilary," was inspired by a true princess.

Yes, the pumpkin was crafted with the aid of a template. Nevertheless, it took me between 3 and 4 hours to complete.

My pumpkin used a template. It consists of 5 cut out duck patterns. It goes all the way around the pumpkin. My inspiration was a duck merry-go-round.

Meet Glory Hole and Scary Barry. I refused to use any pussyass templates.

Glory hole took me about 6 hours to perfect.
