Terrible name for a show, but it's really good.

Basically, the dad from malcolm in the middle is a high school science teacher who finds out he has incurable cancer....and so he begins cooking meth to save money for his family after his death. This show straddles the line where white trash meets the american dream.

It's on AMC, which I found odd, but they already produced "Mad Men" as an original series, and I hear that's well done. As for "Breaking Bad", there's only 7 episodes in the first season, and the second season just started. So while the show is still pretty young, the stuff they've made so far is really bloody good and has lots of potential for future badassery.

Just saw the first 6 episodes, good stuff!
there's a song at the end of the 6th episode that my torrent version only caught the first 15 seconds of, anyone know what it is?

I was about to bump this thread and tell y'all to get with it, but thankfully dent already has....

Season 2, episode 8 ("Just call Saul") is frickin awesome. Bob Odenkirk is introduced as a new character- a jew lawyer named Saul.... this show just keeps getting better and better.

everything about the show is good except when he gets all mcgyver, I'm kind of afraid what I'll see in the second season.

And that mexican druglord is more spaztick than carlos mencia.

Second season ended recently. Rounded out plot lines while setting up the next season nicely. No huge surprises, but the way they bring the symbolism and story lines together at the very end is just awesome.

Season 2 > Season 1, imo.

You think the end of season 2 ended nicely? I know they're bringing in a few plotlines, and I like the Gus going into the office thing, but the very end with the crash.. thats pretty unrealistic.
with flights they have more than one person controlling each plane, the chance of that happening even with the air traffic controller not paying attention is remote
