OCALA -- The hunt is on for a man police believe gunned down his wife outside of a restaurant in Ocala.

Officers said that around 11 p.m. Sunday, a woman, 39, and a 32-year-old man were sitting in a jeep at the Chili's on Southwest 36th Avenue when they were approached by her estranged husband.

Detectives identify that man as Christopher Ronson, 39. They said Ronson started shooting and then took off.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was rushed to a hospital in Gainesville in critical condition. Now, they are searching for Ronson.

Authorities said Ronson might be driving a silver colored, 2001 Pontiac Sunfire with a Michigan tag AJA8517

They said Ronson is white, about 6 feet tall, 240 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Ocala police or call Crimestoppers at (352) 368-STOP.

Yeah, I knew them both IRL. Never would've thought that it would've happened though he did go off when he thought she was having an affair. BTW, a few articles mentioned that he claimed she was having an online affair with somebody in Alaska. That, I believe, would be a reference to Nubblies own Lungo. I also feel bad that some other dude got shot up during this. She wasn't dating that co-worker, she was dating her boss.
