Oh and I plan on doing this also. How does one collect sponsors and such to actually make money for this cause? I wouldn't be so concerned with the charity legality nonsense if I hadn't already pulled a scam similar to this in 8th grade in which I created a fictional door-to-door, "donate for our Jr. High. caps and gowns ceremony" situation and walked off with the funds. I was subsequently caught and am as a result a bit more interested in doing it correctly.

You make a page and share it through email, facebook, etc. and try to solicit money for the cause. I don't know where it goes, though; I hope the organization actually puts the money to good use.

Yeah I made spreadsheets and official looking paperwork and everything, and went door to door asking for donations. One of the houses I went to apparently recognized me and got suspicious and called the school. There of course was no organization collecting money and I got suspended.

Just a week suspension from the school and the beginning of what ended up being me being grounded from that summer until I eventually moved out when I was 17. I was not what you would call the most behaved adolescent (and in fact what you might call one of the worst, besides the little violent bastards). It really wasn't so bad though because having girls over was never part of the punishment.
