FAQ Bountiful Baskets

I picked it up today. Not a bad haul for 30 bucks though -- I think the same amount of food from a supermarket would cost more, and not be as fresh. Next time, it will be around 15-20 dollars for almost all of this. The reason it was 30 this time was because I had a first-time participant fee and I bought extra granola because it sounded bomb (Oats, honey, brown sugar, macadamia nuts, coconut, pineapple, papaya), and I haven't eaten it yet but for an extra ten dollars I got a pretty small bag.

Anyways, here's the loot. Going to do a lot of cooking the next week or two.

What the fuck can I possibly do with this many brussells sprouts.

No, it's about knowledge. Being aware of your place. Even very intelligent and very educated people rarely have moments like this -- it's quite apparent that a few members even on this board haven't had them, or think talking about them makes you a faggot.

An interesting side-effect I've found about discovering drugs about 10-15 years later than most other people is that I have a much deeper well of knowledge to pick from when I'm high, which makes the high experience that much more fulfilling than, say, an 18 year old college kid. Makes you want to learn more.

That being said...drugs definitely amplify this feeling. A lot.

I think there are some drugs that might be "easier" to try when you're young and stupid. Give acid to a 15 year old and life might just be like a carnival for a little while. Give it to a 40 year old and they might not be able to handle their medicine. I gather that psychedelic experimentation takes more work the older you get.

I can't imagine acid being much fun for a 40 year old. Everybody likes the peak and laughing part. Just the last 5 hours where you gradually come down is a bummer. Not really high, but not really able to take the car through the drive through with consistent results.

Haven't touched the shit since early college.

Felt this way the entire time during the last Nubblies gathering. Haven't really felt any after-effects since from a bit of smoking, though.
